In partnership with The Crown Estate and Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment (NCEA), we’ve
created a new central repository for UK marine restoration projects. The platform brings together
past, current and planned initiatives to restore habitats and (re)introduce species, supporting
collaboration, transparent reporting and shared learning across the sector. mend.eco
Developed feasibility studies for saltmarsh and native
oyster
Building on the success of our restoration potential mapping, we
commissioned a series of focused studies to develop a more
detailed methodology for identifying viable saltmarsh and native
oyster restoration sites. This work will play a key role in guiding future
project prioritisation and directing investment where it can deliver
the greatest impact.
Worked with multiple partners and communities
Over the last year, we have helped deliver 17 projects, worked with over 40
partner organisations who have held over 50 community events clocking up an
incredible 3,300 volunteer hours ensuring our projects are embedded within our
local communities.
