What we’re looking forward to...
Firstly, we’re excited to host our 8th annual
ReMeMaRe conference in July in Scarborough and
we hope to see you there!
We’ll continue to coordinate and foster
partnerships encouraging two-way conversation
so that we can learn as well as share.
We’ll keep shaping a strong pipeline of projects
that support the restoration of our precious
coastal habitats and that are ready to be shared
with potential investors, making it easier for
people to get involved and back work that matters.
The Water Environment Improvement Fund (WEIF)
will remain a vital part of this picture, supporting
restoration on the ground, with secured funding for
coastal projects in 2026/27.
We want to ensure our restoration tools remain fit
for purpose and that they continue
to help deliver results in the right place, at the right
time and in the right way.
Our focus is on exploring, strengthening and
expanding restoration funding pathways allowing
more finance to flow into restoration programmes.
As we move into 2026/27, we’re clear about
what matters most and where our energy will go
next and we look forward to sharing that journey
with you.
