2024-25 Tales from an East Anglian Riverbank - Portfolio - Page 2
FOREWORD
We are delighted to introduce this review of the East Anglia Environment Programme9s achievements for people and the
environment in 2024/25. This online report brings together stories, images, and 昀椀lms that highlight the power of partnership
working — teams and organisa琀椀ons coming together to build on the catchment-based approach, tackle challenges
collabora琀椀vely, and deliver vital mul琀椀-bene昀椀t projects.
This year9s review shines a spotlight on Natural Flood Management and Chalk Streams, while also showcasing wider
successes across East Anglia. Thanks to an alloca琀椀on of £2.3m to the WEIF and Chalk Stream Programmes, we were able to
support a wide range of projects that improve our water environment and create be琀琀er places for both people and wildlife.
