This project is broad-ranging looking at posi}ve
land management change across mul}ple land
holdings. The Environment Agency is
contribu}ng to the restora}on or crea}on of 31
ponds across 10 farms, both on-stream and o昀昀stream, along with upskilling local farmers on
pond restora}on, management and crea}on.
Year 1 of the project saw 8 on-stream ponds and
9 o昀昀-stream ponds restored or created, along
with training sessions and farm walks for
farmers and others. One of the on-stream
ponds linked with an exis}ng rewilding project
and address speci昀椀c nood concerns at a
property.
